Xiamen is located on the southeast coast of China in the middle between Hong Kong and Shanghai facing Taiwan Island to the east Xiamen is established as one of the special economic zones in China. Xiamen is one of China’s famous tourist cities and model cities for environment protection. Inside this international garden city,  egrets soar between the beaches, the bay with Lujiang sea melts into the sky Dazzling and unique flowers are seen blossoming all year round with the green vegetation and forestation seen along coastline and among the mountains.

Xiamen, known as the “Island of Egrets”, located in the southeast coast of China. The land area of the city is 1699.34 square kilometers, of which the Xiamen island covers an area of 1155.89 square kilometers and is the fourth largest island in Fujian province. Xiamen has a subtropical maritime monsoon climate, characterized by balmy summer, mild winter and ample rainfalls. The annual average temperature is about 21℃.

Xiamen is an open and inclusive city, with ever-growing international appeal. Xiamen, as a beautiful coastal tourist city, is enchanting not only because of its beautiful scenery but more importantly, for its unique urban characteristics.
